How do I know they are ancestral?

Jeremiah and Ann are recorded as the parents of my next ancestor Jonathan in the Lamplugh parish register.

Who were their parents?

Jeremiah was the son of William and Mary RAWLING, as recorded in the Lamplugh parish register. I have not yet found Anne's birth or parentage, though she may have been related to a John JACKSON, after whom they named their second child.

William 1797 (married Ann, lived at Arlecdon, had one child Joshua about 1825, all buried at Lamplugh: Joshua 1837, William 1865, Ann 1892)
John Jackson 1800
Jonathan 1802 (see below)
Mary 1804
Sarah 1805
Elizabeth 1807
Ann 1810 (died aged 7 months, buried Lamplugh)
Note that the parish register information I have ends in 1812 so there may be later children I don't know about.

Jeremiah was still living at Hollins in 1837, renting a cottage and two perches of land from John CROSTHWAITE and owing no tithe.

Biographical evidence

Pre-family life

I do not have evidence for their life before they married.

Family life

Jeremiah and Ann lived at Hollins in Kelton in the parish of Lamplugh, and had at least seven children. The parish register transcript on which I base this ends in 1812, so it is possible that they had more after that.
William 1797
John Jackson 1800
Jonathan 1802
Mary 1804
Sarah 1805
Elizabeth 1807
Ann 1810 (died aged 7 months, buried Lamplugh)

Little Ann died aged just 7 months.
