Places

These are a few places that were important to my ancestors. I hope to post more before too long.

Allonby - A village on the West Cumberland coast, with a Quaker meeting house and at least two branches of my ancestors.

Pardshaw Hall - a Lakeland village with a Quaker meeting and several branches of my ancestors.

Whitehaven Collieries - Whitehaven is a port on the west coast of Cumberland where a number of my ancestors lived. This page is about the coal mines there, where some of my ancestors worked.
