Robert THORPE was a labourer in 1850.
His son William THORPE in 1850 married Mary PRIME in Aslacton in southern Norfolk.
Their son William Thorpe PRIME had been born earlier the same year and after his parents' marriage frequently went by the name of William THORPE. When he grew up and had a family, so did his family, including my ancestor Florence PRIME - see the PRIME surname line page for more details.
