This is so far just the maiden name of a female ancestor.
Martha BESWICK married John HORROCKS, probably around Pendlebury in Lancashire (Salford or Barton-upon-Irwell RD?), probably around 1860 and no later than April 1868; I think both were about the same age, early 20s. Next stop the GRO marriage indexes.
Working back, I want her in the 1861 census (under HORROCKS perhaps, aged about 22) and 1851 and 41 (under BESWICK with her parents presumably, aged about 12 and 2 respectively).
Then her birth, around 1838, again Pendlebury so Salford or Barton.
